Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer 5.5 and Internet Explorer 6
To enable ‘JavaScript’ click the ‘Tools’ button at the top of the screen.

Click on the ‘Internet Options…’ button. See Fig 2.
When the ‘Internet Options’ window is displayed click the ‘security’ tab at the
top of the window. See fig 3.
Click the ‘Custom Level…’ button at the bottom of this window. When the ‘Security
Settings’ window is displayed scroll down under ‘Settings:’ to ‘Scripting’. See
fig 4.

Under ‘Scripting, Active Scripting’. Click the ‘Enable’ button. And then click the
‘OK’ button.

Click the ‘Tools’ button in the top right hand corner of your browser window.

Click on the ‘Internet Options’ button that appears in the drop down list. See fig
2.
When the ‘Internet Options window is displayed click on the ‘Security’ tab at the
top of this window. See fig 3.
Click on the ‘Custom Level…’ button. See fig 4.
The ‘Security Settings – Internet Zone’ window will be displayed. See fig 5.
Scroll down till you see the option ‘Scripting’, ‘Active scripting’ and click the
option ‘Enable’. See fig 6.
Next click the ‘OK’ button, upon clicking the ‘OK’ button a dialogue box will be
displayed asking if you are sure you want to make these changes, click the ‘Yes’
button. See fig 7
Enabling JavaScript in Mozilla FireFox
To enable JavaScript in Firefox click the ‘Tools’ button at the top of
your browser window. See fig 1
Then click the ‘Options…’ button from the drop down list. See fig 2.
When the ‘Options’ window is displayed select the Content button

at
the top of the ‘Options’ window and the following options will be displayed. See
fig 3.
Check the box ‘Enable JavaScript’ and click the ‘OK’ button. See fig 4.

When the ‘OK’ button has been clicked the user will be taken back to their browser
window.
Enabling JavaScript in Safari 1.3 and 2.0
To enable ‘JavaScript’ click the ‘Safari’ button in the top left hand corner
of the browser window. See fig 1.

Click the ‘Preferences…’ option from the drop down list. See fig 2.
When the ‘Preferences’ window loads check that the contents bar at the top of the
screen has the padlock selected. See fig 3.
To enable JavaScript tick the check box next to ‘Enable JavaScript’. See fig 4.
After this box has been checked click the red button in the top left hand corner
of the ‘preferences’ window to return to your browser.
